Charles-Marie Widor

French organist, composer, and pedagogue (21 February 1844, Lyon — 12 March 1937, Paris). Son of a prolific organ builder François-Charles Widor (1811—1899). He became a titular organist at Saint-Sulpice Church in 1870. Widor wrote ten symphonies for organ.
