The State Academic Chamber Orchestra of Russia (abbreviated in Russian as ГАКОР) is the state chamber orchestra of Moscow. Founded in 1956 as by composer . Since 1983, it has been known as the State Chamber Orchestra of the USSR, and since 1991, the State Chamber Orchestra of Russia. The orchestra's current name has been in use since 1994.
