Alan Balter

Alan Balter (1945–1998) was an American conductor and clarinetist, a music director of The Memphis Symphony (MSO) from 1984 to 1998. For more than twenty years, Balter served as a principal clarinetist in various orchestras, including Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
