Steve Turre

American trombonist, born 12 September 1948 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA In addition to performing as a member of the Saturday Night Live Band since 1984, Turre leads several different ensembles. He plays the trombone as well as various sea shells. Former husband of Akua Dixon.
